Coface, a leading provider of credit solutions for business in the UK and Ireland, is hosting a Country Risk Conference on Wednesday 20th June to help businesses, credit professionals and advisers assess current trends in international trading risk in order to trade more safely overseas.

Specialist commentators will speak at the event including representatives from HSBC Bank, Fitch Ratings, BPL Global, Standard Bank and Coface. Topics covered will include an analysis of the UK economy, trade conditions in the UK’s traditional and emerging export markets, practical advice on how to trade with these countries effectively and securely and the changing nature of political risk.

Jon Lindsay, Managing Director of Coface in the UK and Ireland, said: “In recent years we’ve had an excellent turnout of credit risk professionals and their advisers who have benefited from the insight into doing business with key UK export destinations. The event will offer an overview of the opportunities and risks involved with exporting and provide information on how to manage these risks and trade more safely overseas.”

The one-day conference, taking place in central London, is Coface’s fourth biennial Country Risk Conference in the UK. The event will include a sit-down lunch and delegates will receive a complimentary copy of the Coface Handbook of Country Risk 2007.
