Leading collections outsourcing agency, dlc announces it has become an associate subscriber to the Lending Code having successfully completed the Lending Standards Board’s (LSB) application process.
The Lending Code sets standards of good practice in relation to loans, credit cards and current account overdrafts and debt collection activities related to these products. The Code contains key commitments and detailed notes on how customers should be dealt with through the whole product life cycle, including when someone is experiencing financial difficulties.
Speaking about becoming a subscriber Steve Grima, Operations Director for dlc, said: “In successfully achieving LSB associate subscriber status, we have demonstrated our absolute commitment to placing customers at the heart of our business, and in doing so upholding the principles covered in section 9 of the Code.
The decision to award dlc associate subscriber status, follows a very robust assessment by the LSB, and is further evidence of the high quality of our people, training culture, systems and governance structure. We look forward to working closely with our subscriber peers, ensuring that customers are afforded the highest level of service and protection when experiencing financial difficulty.
