ifs University College Relationship Director honoured by Credit Industry

By CreditMan Monday, April 11, 2016

Michael Nicholls, Relationship Director at ifs University College, has been celebrated as one of the most influential professionals in the Credit Industry.

Named in Credit Today’s Credit 100, – a list of the most influential people making positive impacts in the industry – Michael received the accolade for his work in devising and developing ifs University College’s Certificate in Consumer Debt Collection (CertDC) qualification.

CertDC was developed to support professionalism in the consumer debt collection industry and to deliver better consumer outcomes, following the shift of regulatory responsibility to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). It has already become the industry standard qualification for those looking to advance their careers in the sector.

Commenting on the accolade, Michael Nicholls said:

“Despite only launching 18 months ago, it’s very pleasing to see that CertDC is now widely recognised by the credit industry.

“While it is always nice to be professionally recognised, this award is testament to all of the hard work that everyone at ifs University College has put in to ensuring that the industry has an appropriate qualification to reflect the new regulatory landscape.’’
