Winterhill Receivables, part of professional services group Winterhill, has expanded with the appointment of three inventory valuation specialists who have joined the firm from the Manchester office of property consultant Lambert Smith Hampton.
Paul Alfieri, Nick Pope and Gerard Conway were all previously with Edward Symmons, which was acquired by LSH earlier this year. To reflect the new, enhanced service the business has changed its name to Winterhill Receivables & ABL Services.
“This is another exciting development for Winterhill,” said James Hulme, managing director of Winterhill Receivables & ABL Services. “After my independent start up just under three years ago as Audit ID, the merger with Winterhill has enabled strong strategic growth.
“The new team has been established to service the firm’s growing asset based lending customer base and will bring together ABL valuation, audit and collection facilities as a comprehensive service across all asset classes.”
He added: “We now have a full suite of disciplines all under one roof. We always aim to add value and the new team will guarantee that we can offer greater efficiency, accuracy and economies of scale along with a scientific and rigorous approach, a fully bespoke service and complementary areas of expertise.”
Neil Duckworth, Winterhill chief executive, said: “The new team bring with them a huge amount of experience in inventory valuation. Added to our audit, debt collection and asset disposal services and our new, highly specialised contractual and construction debt unit, there can be few if any firms offering such a comprehensive service.
“We are really pleased to welcome Paul, Nick and Gerard on board and are delighted to be able to realise our goal of becoming a one stop shop offering a wide reaching and expert service for ABL and insolvency industry clients.”
Headquartered in Manchester, Winterhill Receivables & ABL Services also has offices in Glasgow, Blackburn, Leeds, and London.
