Payment Protection Insurance – FLA/CCTA conference addresses the issues

By CreditMan Tuesday, June 20, 2006

A conference is being organised by the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) and the Consumer Credit Trade Association (CCTA) to give payment protection insurance (PPI) providers the low-down on the changing regulatory landscape and challenges faced by the sector.

Highlighting the key issues and likely outcomes of the FSA’s Thematic Review and the OFT’s Market Study into PPI, this conference is a must for all firms, large and small, involved in the manufacture and distribution of PPI.

The conference takes place on Wednesday, 5 July at Radisson SAS Hotel, Queensway, Birmingham.

Speakers include representatives from the Financial Services Authority and the Office of Fair Trading, as well as experts and practitioners from KPMG, Protect and Blake Lapthorn Linnell. They will set out the challenges to PPI in the context of existing market practices and the evolving regulatory environment.
