USA - GCS to Host 5th Annual Credit Symposium (October 17th - 20th)

By CreditMan Thursday, August 3, 2006

Global Credit Services, a leading industry provider of Risk Management Solutions and Credit Advisory Services, is hosting its 5th Annual Credit Symposium in Austin, Texas October 17th through October 20th. Each year, GCS gathers credit, financial, and legal professionals alike to hear from industry experts and exchange information and ideas regarding risk management, new bankruptcy legislation, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and other priority issues relating to credit and risk management.

At this year's event, industry-leading retailers such as WalMart, Target, and Gander Mountain will participate in a special "Retail Forum Day" where key executives will present timely and insightful analysis regarding their respective companies, as well as field general questions pertaining to the overall credit management function. Furthermore, GCS Senior Analysts will present and discuss significant developing trends in the Food/Drug, Mass Merchant, and Department Store retail industries.

In addition to some of the topics mentioned above, this year's GCS Symposium will also focus on the subject of Credit Scoring and the inherent benefits of automating and controlling risk in this new world of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Earlier this year at the NACM National Credit Congress held in Nashville, GCS announced the release of ARMZ(TM) -- the Automated Risk Management Zone -- a full solution credit scoring application that empowers companies with the ability to monitor and control credit exposure and overall corporate risk at specific sector, industry, and company levels. It is a turnkey, risk management solution that provides a level of flexibility and drill-down transparency never before seen -- until now.

And of course, there will be plenty of good "Texas" food, drinks, and entertainment along with exciting Key Note speakers such as Robert Tucker, President of The Innovation Resource and author of "Driving Growth Through Innovation" -- a subject matter dear and close to the heart of what's happened at GCS over the past year.

This year's symposium will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa and a special room block has been set for hotel accommodations. We urge attendees to register early as room reservations fill up quickly. As well, early registrants can still take advantage of "early registration" discounts through July 31, 2006.

So REGISTER NOW for the Premier Credit Education and Networking Event of the Year at www.gcszone.com or contact Paul Runko, VP of New Business Development, at 212-308-6060 ext 155, for more GCS Symposium details and available Sponsorship Opportunities.
