American Express becomes latest CICM Corporate Partner
American Express is the latest in a growing list of leading global organisations to become a Corporate Partner to the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).
American Express Business Payments Solutions supports its customers in improving cash collections. It can offer expertise and innovative solutions for accelerating cashflow, extending terms and driving growth through access to additional credit lines.
A spokesman for American Express says being able to connect with credit professionals through the CICM is an excellent way of highlighting the solutions that American Express can offer, as well as continuing to support clients who are already members:
“As a global payments provider we have visibility of a wide range of companies’ collections activities and objectives. Hopefully, we can share some of this best practice with CICM members, including the latest American Express Accertify fraud toolkit which manages the entire process throughout the transaction lifecycle,” he/she says.
“This partnership with the CICM will give us closer access to key contacts within many businesses across a range of industries, and also the ability to showcase how we are supporting companies to drive growth in challenging economic times.”
The CICM’s Chief Executive, Philip King says that having a global business payment solution business as a Corporate Partner can be of great benefit to members: “The expertise and knowledge from businesses like American Express shared at CICM events and more widely is of great use to members. Being able to maximise sales through the creative use of funding solutions for their customer base is a great illustration of the value good credit management adds to business. This new relationship is another example of the benefits our Corporate Partnership scheme offers.”
