By CreditMan Monday, October 8, 2007

Mike Connolly, one of the UK’s leading trainers in all aspects of credit control, debt recovery and related law, will make live collections telephone calls to commercial debtors during the Collections Training Session at the Collections / Debt Sale & Purchase Conference.

With over 20 years of experience, Connolly will make live telephone calls to real debtors during which he will show delegates how to deal with typical problems, excuses and delaying tactics resulting in successful collecting of debt. Connelly, Senior Partner of ‘The Connelly Partnership’ has geared the training session towards junior to intermediate level, so that senior managers attending the conference can bring their team to learn new skills and develop existing ones.

The training session will be held on the second day of the conference dedicated to professionals working in the debt control and collections arena, which will be held at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole from 28 – 29 November 2007.

Kelly Stanley, spokesperson for the Collections / Debt Sale Purchase Conference, says: “We are delighted to have Mike on board! His experience in this field is second to none, working with such clients as British Gas, Ernst & Young and The Highways Agency. Mike’s style is direct, interesting, informative, challenging and never dull! This is a great course for individuals and teams needing to collect more effectively.”

This fast-moving, highly interactive and practical day is crammed with methodologies that work to achieve results quicker and in line with current best practice.

“A major feature of the course will be Mike’s ‘How To’ sessions during which he will make ‘live’ calls. These will be real calls made to real debtors where Mike will be dealing with real problems. This will be a great part of the session and evidences our desire for delegates to take away practical lessons and learning.”
