Craig White named as UK Chief Operating Officer at GFKL Lowell
Craig White has been appointed UK Chief Operating Officer at GFKL Lowell. He will take up his new role on April 3rd, and replaces Andrew Bartle, who is leaving to develop new ventures.
Craig will lead the UK Operations team, which is well placed to maintain the exceptional quality of service it delivers to both customers and clients, while also ensuring a continuation of the outstanding leadership it provides to colleagues in its offices in Leeds and Tolworth.
The work of Craig and his new team will also make a significant contribution to GFKL Lowell’s efforts to strengthen its position as one the largest credit management companies in Europe.
With a career in the financial sector that spans over 30-years, Craig joins GFKL Lowell from Domestic and General where he held the position of UK Customer and Sales Director. He had previously held senior roles with Capita, Barclays Bank and GE Money.
The GFKL Lowell Group was created in October 2015 following the merger of German and UK market leaders GFKL and the Lowell Group. This union created one of the largest credit management companies in Europe. It benefits from the backing of global investment company Permira Funds and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP).
The Group’s experience, expertise and core strengths in data analytics and operational efficiency underpin its vision to be the most reputable and trusted partner in the European credit management sector.
In April 2016, the Group made its first acquisition of Austrian Third Party Collections (3PC) specialist, IS Inkasso. This was followed in August and September 2016 with two further 3PC companies, German-based Apontas and Tesch.
