Credit Services Association Qualification receives CPD certification
The Credit Services Association’s Level 3 Diploma has been formally certified as conforming to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
It means CSA members will accrue points for studying for the Diploma that can be added to their CPD Record to evidence progress in their learning and development. It also means that the CSA will be able to display the ‘certified’ logo on all material relating to the course.
Fiona Macaskill, the CSA’s Head of Learning and Development, says this is the start of a plan to align more closely with CPD: “This is the first stage on a journey to see not just our training but also all of our events, conferences, forums and webinars formally certified to CPD guidelines,” she said.
The Level 3 Diploma has been designed as a standalone qualification or provides a progression route for learners that have previously completed the NOCN Level 3 Award or Certificate for the Debt Collection Industry (QCF). This qualification is an industry recognised qualification that offers proof of knowledge and the skills required to function as a proficient professional within the Debt Collection Industry. This qualification has been designed to provide the learner with a wide scope of knowledge regarding the entire Debt Collection Industry and an in-depth understanding of how legislation, industry regulations, standards and guidance embodies a framework for compliance. The learner will also explore in more detail how compliance process systems are integrated into debt recovery organisation working practices.
