CSA & DBSG announce Debt Collection, Sale and Purchase Conference 2007
The Credit Services Association (CSA), voice of the UK debt collection industry, has announced details of its annual industry conference that will again be held in conjunction with The Debt Buyers and Sellers Group (DBSG), the organisation that helps ensure that the interests of both ends of the buying/selling chain are voiced and heard.
The conference, entitled ‘Setting the Standards’, is to take place on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th September, in Carden Park Estate, near Cheshire.
The two-day conference will tee-off with the Annual CSA & DBSG Golf Tournament, one of the most popular features of the conference, and a great opportunity to talk business in an informal, relaxed setting. Following this, the CSA AGM will provide CSA members with a round up of the year, and an opportunity to put themselves forward to stand for the Board of the Association.
A networking reception and informal dinner in the evening will offer a sneak preview of all exhibitors and what they have to offer to delegates, ahead of the conference and exhibition on day two.
“With a wide range of speakers and exhibitors, the conference is a great place to network, gather information and learn more on the wider debt-servicing arena. The conference will comprise split sessions covering all aspects of the collections and debt sale and purchase arena, hosted by key speakers,” says Kurt Obermaier, Executive Director of the CSA.
Day two will also see the DBSG AGM, offering DBSG members the chance to hear more about the group’s progression and to have a say in the future aims and objectives of the group. The conference will conclude with the highly popular black tie charity gala dinner, in aid of the British Paralympics Association.
“As the CSA and the DBSG continue to grow so does the conference!” explains Godfrey Lancashire, President of the CSA. “This year will see even more exhibitors, and over 300 delegates from across the globe, thus making it the definitive industry conference for Lenders, DCAs and Debt Buyers and Sellers.
“Comprehensive focus sessions across six key themes, will offer attendees in-depth and expert advice on all aspects of debt collection, sale and purchase, in keeping with the CSA’s drive for professionalism and excellence in all that it does.
“It is not all hard work however. The gala dinner is always in high demand, and with 290 places available at this year’s event, it is now an unmissable date in the industry’s social calendar,” concludes Godfrey.
