And reflecting the continued focus to help members understand regulatory requirements, the Financial Ombudsman has confirmed attendance at the event.

“DEMSA aims to work with members to raise standards, making our events essential to guarantee the effectiveness of the organisation,” explains Kevin Still, CEO, DEMSA. “After the success of our September event, we are looking forward to welcoming members to the Hallmark Hotel, Manchester in December.

“In particular, we are pleased to confirm the attendance of the Financial Ombudsman at the meeting, providing an insight into complaint handling rules that will be coming into effect next June. Other presentations will include a Data Protection update and news about DEMSA’s CPD programme.”

The DEMSA Members meeting will also including a presentation of key initiatives planned for 2016. Plus, it will provide an opportunity for members to network and discuss the challenges debt management industry faces.
