JBW completes their first acquisition

JBW Group Ltd, the ethical debt management and enforcement organisation are delighted to announce their first acquisition. They have acquired National Enforcement Service, a Darlington based organisation which specialises in the enforcement of Council Tax and commercial rent recovery. NES is also one of the few organisations that have a specialist
eviction team who assist in removing travellers for Local Authorities. The acquisition of NES will also see JBW Group become the controlling business of three franchise operations in
Derby, Preston and Durham.

NES, is run by Andy and Sue Coates a husband and wife who have been in the enforcement industry for over 20 years. Working alongside Andy and Sue are 14 other staff who between
them has a combined experience in the industry of over 100 years.

Andy commented on the acquisition; Joining the JBW Group is an exciting time for National
Enforcement Services as it gives us the opportunity to concentrate of delivering bailiff services rather than running the business. I have watched the growth and success of the JBW Group over the past six years and always been very impressed with their ethical approach to both enforcement and business as a whole. Being part of the JBW Group will assist us in becoming one of the largest providers of bailiff services in the North of England, we are very excited.

Christine Appleby, NES Office Manager, commented; I have been working in the bailiff industry for 12 years now and this is the first time I have come across a group of people who take the business aspect of the bailiff industry so seriously. JBW Group and their team have made us all very excited about the future and what it has to hold.

She continued; The same week that JBW Group announced that they were completing the acquisition of our company, they were listed as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies

I have worked with Andy and Sue for five years now and always been impressed with their exceptional reputation for providing a 1st class bailiff servicein the north of England. JBW Group were recently successful in the procurement exercise with Leeds City Council where we have been contracted for a three year period to provide an enforcement solution for the recovery of Penalty Charge Notices. To enable us to provide the service levels that we provide in the South of England it was important to find the right people
and that is exactly what we have found in Andy and his team.

The acquisition of NES will see Andy Coates join the board of Directors of JBW Group and all other staff transferred over under TUPE.
