KSA Group appoints regional manager for East Midlands

Leading UK company rescue specialists, KSA Group Ltd, has strengthened its management structure with the appointment of George Davis as Regional Manager for the East Midlands.

KSA Group is the UK’s leading specialist in Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVA).

George Davis joins KSA Group with the aim of helping struggling businesses across the East Midlands region. He will focus on advising company directors facing financial difficulties on the range of tools and mechanisms available to them.

Inhis new role, George will meet with struggling businesses to explain the options open to them, before writing a detailed and comprehensive report for the directors, showing clearly the outcomes available from the various options available. This service is free for all businesses in the East Midlands with debts of £40k or more.

“I’m delighted to be joining the team at KSA Group,” said George, “as helping struggling businesses is something I am very passionate about.”

He added: “Going into administration or liquidation is not the only option if a business faces difficulty. Even if the business is technically insolvent it can continue to trade whilst a deal is put together to pay back creditors over an agreed timetable. Company Voluntary Arrangements as these arrangements are called are something KSA has put together more than any other practitioner in the UK”.

George joins KSA Group with a wealth of experience, having worked at board level for companies in a number of industries in the UK and Europe.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, with an MBA from Aston University, George is also a qualified Prince2 project manager. His industry experience includes brewing, consumer and industrial products, specialist print and communication. He has also been MD of a multi-site business, holding full operational and financial responsibility, and has worked on mergers and acquisitions becoming well versed in business restructuring.

But George has also had experience of managing a business through the CVA process, and knows and understands the difficulties and stresses that Directors face when the going gets tough. As such, he feels that he is ideally suited to helping directors find a solution to difficultfinancial situations.

George added: “When a business gets into difficulty, for whatever reason, it can be a very lonely and confusing place, and things can deteriorate quickly. Taking the right advice, and more importantly taking it soon enough, can mean the difference between success and failure. Having the right people fighting you corner is hugely helpful.”
