Alternative invoice finance provider, Nucleus Commercial Finance has won the Commercial Finance Provider of the Year category at the ICM British Credit Awards, holding off competition from Investec Asset Finance.

Held at a glittering awards ceremony at the Brewery in London last night, the ICM British Credit Awards are the recognised standard in the credit and collections industry, and combine new categories with the most popular awards from previous events. The new categories cover all the different aspects from consumer and commercial lending to credit insurance, use of technology and business information.

Chirag Shah, Chief Executive of Nucleus Commercial Finance says it is a great achievement for his entire team to go one better than last year when Nucleus was also shortlisted: “2014 has been a fantastic year for us; we have seen a record number of enquiries and deals completed, and are one of the only financiers to regularly arranges deals up to and including £10 million. It is a credit to my dedicated team that we also have not lost a single client to a competitor in all that time, and have this award to add to our list of achievements.”
